Mac Thecaster is a young video life blogger, and the following piece is an articulate and engaging argument for intellectual freedom & how the library respects and encourages it.
I found this video through a new twitter friend, @WillSwartz , who first embedded this on his blog.
It's over 2 years old, but I'd never seen it. What do you think?

WOW! I have never seen this video. It sounds like the same thing I preach to the reading specialist at my school. I have a deep love of reading and libraries which is why I refuse to mandate that my students check out certain types of books. I would love to see what he thinks of School Libraries vs Public Libraries. There are times I want to focus on the love of reading as many of my students are not being read to on a daily basis :( School librarians want to do it all.
